THE MOTIFF
The Motiff was created in 2018. The beginning was made by Markos, Lefteris and Manos, while later the roster was completed with Kostas and Stavros.
A year later they released their first single
"Gravity / Ten Thousand Lives".
After many hours of gigs in many different stages Stavros decided to stop from active duty and nowon
Ioanna leads the vocals
The Motiff have shared the stage with artists such as
Nightstalker & Naxatras, Magic De Spell, Locomondo
as well as with several artists from Crete.
The band hails from the Island of Crete.

LEFTERIS TSAGLIOTIS
Lover of technology and sports.
He started playing guitar at the age of 20.
His role in the band apart from being a guitarist
was and still is to manage the band.
He likes guitar effect pedals and creating
unique sounds with them.
His favorite band is Pink Floyd, from which
he has been inspired.
MARKOS MASTORAKIS
His involvment with music started at a young age,
Grew up listening to 90’s alt rock and metal parallel
to his love for Greek composers like
Hadjidakis and Spanoudakis. He writes lyrics
and plays the Bass guitar
for the Motiff and enjoys compositing music on his computer. In his spare time loves discussing history, philosophy and music theory.
KOSTAS VITSAKIS
Started playing the drums at the age of sixteen, at first influenced by the most famous Greek and foreign rock bands (Trypes, Ksilina Spathia, Metallica, Nirvana).
He has played for several local bands in the city of Heraklion (On the Rocks, Wrong Way, Simata Kapnou).
On September 2018 he joined the Motiff
taking his part in the first compositions of the band.
Also affected by Muse, Queensryche, Dream Theater
and Katatonia, his playing is a mixture of Rock,
Alternative and progressive influences.
MANOS LIAPAKIS
Started playing Classic Guitar at an early age.
Then, Rock & Metal influences
made him turn to the Electric Guitar.
Has been a member of several
bands and projects over the years.
One of his most recent project
was Shadows Reflect.
He has a key role in the composition
of the band's songs and lead guitar.
